Meaning & Purpose — Finding Your Way Again
Life can change in ways we never anticipated. The loss of a career, job, relationship, role, identity or a future we had imagined can leave us wondering, “Who am I now, and what comes next?”
This course provides a space to pause, reflect and reconnect with what gives your life meaning. Through positive psychology, strengths-based approaches and meaning-centred practices, you will explore who you are beyond the role or identity you may have lost, rediscover what matters to you, and begin to build a renewed sense of purpose and direction for the next chapter of your life.
This course may support adults who are:
Experiencing the loss of a career, job or professional identity
Facing redundancy, redeployment or a major career change
Adjusting to retirement or an unexpected change in circumstances
Experiencing the end of a significant relationship
Navigating an empty nest or changing family role
Recovering from a major life transition or setback
Feeling lost, stuck or uncertain about what comes next
Questioning their identity, values or sense of purpose
Wanting to rediscover themselves beyond the roles they have held
Ready to create a meaningful and purposeful next chapter
Meaning & Purpose — Finding Your Direction | Ages 16–25
Your late teens and twenties can be exciting — but they can also feel incredibly uncertain. With so many choices about study, careers, relationships and the future, it is easy to feel pressured to know exactly where you are heading when you are still figuring out who you are.
This course gives young adults the time and space to step back from the noise, explore what genuinely matters to them and develop greater clarity about their direction. Through strengths-based and positive psychology approaches, participants explore their values, strengths, interests, meaning and purpose, helping them make more confident and intentional decisions about their future.
This course may support young adults who are:
Unsure what career or study pathway to pursue
Feeling overwhelmed by choices about their future
Unsure what they are passionate about or what they want from life
Considering a career or study change
Feeling pressure to have their future “sorted”
Wanting to better understand their strengths and natural abilities
Exploring what gives them meaning and motivation
Wanting greater confidence in making life decisions
Taking a gap year or transitioning from school into adult life
Looking for a clearer sense of direction and purpose
Wanting to build a future that aligns with who they are, rather than what others expect of them
